Rave Reports 5.0 Developer Edition is for application developers requiring integrated database reporting. Rave DE incorporates all the utility of the SE version with the addition of the Rave DLLs and ActiveX controls. The additional DLLs and ActiveX control enable Rave Reports to be incorporated into applications created with developer tools such as Visual Basic and MS Visual C++ to simplify the task of providing coherent database information to end users.
Using the Rave visual report designer, the developer can create reports from Microsoft ODBC compatible, Microsoft ADO compatible, Microsoft SQL Server, Advantage, & Access databases for inclusion in VB or Visual C++ applications, or for use by the Rave Server. Rave DE contains a single user license of the Rave Server.
